Techcrunch had the opportunity to visit Box.net, a cloud computing company based in Palo Alto, CA recently. I had the opportunity to visit the space earlier this year, as well, though I was unable to shoot any pictures.
The space was originally fit out by the now famous Studio O+A, who designed Facebook’s pre-Menlo office and Aol’s new space in Palo Alto. Primo Orpilla of the firm was nice enough to take us through the space, which was his first time back since completing the project. As mentioned in the video, the company has been growing by leaps and bounds and had to make some alterations to fit their new employees.
The video does a pretty nice job of capturing the vibe of the place, which seemed very relaxed during our visit, though of course, because of our unannounced drop-in and the sensitive nature of some whiteboards, pictures were not allowed. All that said, enjoy the video!
