TNT Express’ New Sustainable Headquarters

No, not Turner Network Television. TNT Express, the company that ships things all over using their 30,000+ vehicles and 50 aircraft, has just opened up a new headquarters building in Hoofddorp. The company aimed for the LEED Platinum rating and was able to achieve it moving them closer to being the first carbon-neutral shipping company in the world.

Designed by architecture firm Paul de Ruiter and outfitted by interiors firm Ex Interiors, the space looks fantastic empty. I’m always interested to see how these clean spaces look once employees move in, but that is really the case with any office.

A few take-away’s:

  • Natural light is a must
  • The InterfaceFLORing looks great
  • I love neutrals, but a bit of color is a must
