Duff Capital Offices – Greenwich

When I first came across the images of Duff Capital’s offices, I thought they were simply architectural photos of an office that hadn’t been moved into when they were taken. I was sort of wrong.

Duff Capital was apparently going to be a huge hedge fund commanding somewhere around $20 billion. But along came the crash in 2008, which ended up wiping them out before they ever got started. But not so early that they hadn’t begun building their office space. NY Mag has a small piece on it.

Some of the features are a $39,000 table made of a single slab of walnut, a huge open boardroom, and around $6 million in other furniture and amenities. Nuts. But, a pretty interesting look back in time for us.
