Eimskip’s Bespoke London Offices

Icelandic transportation company Eimskip recently moved into a new London office space designed by MSL Interiors.

Here’s a bit about the project from the designers:

“We were appointed to create a bespoke office space for a division of the Icelandic firm Eimskip in Golden Square London. The client wanted to move away from the more corporate look of other offices we have completed for them and wished to incorporate design elements from typical elements found in Iceland.

To achieve this we incorporated lava rock (imported from quarry in Iceland) to create a stunning reception desk/workstations and conference tables combined with double laminated blue glass work tops.

Curved features walls were created and covered by original artwork or bespoke storagewalls – covered with battens (designed to illustrate icicles as the business was refrigerated transport company) separated common areas from work spaces.

Seating throughout was Interstuhl Silver chairs and reception seating was Artiforts C905 sofas in leather with Little Tulip chairs used for ad-hoc meeting spaces.”
