  • Pest control company EcoFirst recently underwent a total transformation by Rapt Studio who designed the a new headquarters in additional repositioned the company’s brand, creating a new logo, uniforms, and the new name Alterra.

    Alterra, Latin for all earth, was selected to better distinguish themselves as an environmentally responsible solution to pest control. The new brand is integrated into their space with simple green materials, polished concrete slabs, FSC certified plywood and glass partitions to create open, sustainable space, full of natural light and employee collaboration.

    The culture is maintained with an indoor basketball court and game room. EcoFirst Pest Control, looking to differentiate themselves as THE environmentally responsible solution in an Industry known for “Killing bugs, dead!” hired Rapt to reposition the company’s brand to better align with their mission.  The first step –rename the company Alterra and develop an integrated brand expression that spoke directly to the company’s mission to offer cost effective, earth-friendly, pest control.  Rapt developed the new identity system from logo to uniforms.  A new website design allows the company to educate their customers as well as offering an easy link to new customers.  The new design for the field rep’s uniforms and car-wraps allow for a strong brand presence throughout the communities in which they do business and Rapt’s design for Alterra’s digital and print advertisements close the loop of the brands external penetration.  Finally, Rapt designed the new Alterra Headquarters offices in order to bring a strong sense of brand and culture to the staff.

    The space, crafted with simple, green materials, utilizes polished concrete slabs, FSC certified plywood and glass partitions to create and open, sustainable space, full of natural light and positive employee interactions.  The space also includes an indoor basketball court and game room, supporting a healthy, social, collaborative work environment.
