Asmara – Vietnam Offices
ADP Architects has designed a new office space for fashion company Asmara located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
As a company working in the Fashion field, Asmara has representative offices in many countries across the world. The Executive Board’s desire to ensure the company’s unique character on every Asmara office encouraging a creative office environment, within a comfortable and stimulating work place but have to have local culture touch.
As an old warehouse, ADP gave a sense of industry as well as created a distinct workspace. The utilization of tradition materials, such as cement, old tiles, vinyl etc., creates an overall harmony consistent with the industrial theme. An enormous skylight was created in the center of the office to solve the inherent natural lighting limitations of warehouse, as well as providing effective energy saving solution. Light filters through two layers of polycarbonate creating an aesthetically natural lighting that featured for the entire office.
The meeting and working spaces display a modern aesthetic thanks to simple cabinetry complementing the display of the product. The lounge area characterizes Vietnamese culture by the utilization of traditional materials, such as brick, cement, and Hoi An lanterns. The ceiling has been extended in height, creating a gravitas look in reception area.
Asmara is a modern office space, reminiscent of an industrial style which seamlessly transitions into a fashion showroom. With innovative ideas, from an old warehouse to a naturally lit, comfortable and functionalmodern office Asmara has captured the essence of Vietnam.
