Gravity Coworking – Sydney Offices
Valmont has recently completed the design of a new office space for Gravity Coworking based in Sydney, Australia.
Level 3, 50 Carrington Street is one of Sydney’s most desirable business addresses, surrounded by prestigious buildings and fronting a widely-used attractive park.
Gravity Coworking wished to transform it into an engaging and dynamic coworking space and provide an environment ideal for entrepreneurial individuals, start-ups, growing businesses and corporate innovation teams to ply their trades. Particular focus had to be on maintaining the open, fluid feel and to integrate the large balcony overlooking the park.
We developed a layout for an open-plan, welcoming environment presenting a high-end, professional finish and allowing for individual space, collective points and the ability to adapt the space as numbers grew.
The main lobby area is open-plan, surrounded by glass walls and offering continual line of sight from the Concierge’s standing desk to the members’ floor.
The two core work areas are kept open and free of any tall impediment, taking full advantage of the floor to ceiling windows that flood the entire space with natural light.
Given the natural appeal of the balcony, we designed the breakout and kitchen space to feed into it, ensuring maximum traffic and providing two adjoining spaces for members to mingle, interact and inspire – the perfect spot for a members’ function.Inside, natural plant fittings appear in the kitchen and lobby area, maintaining a fresh and vibrant feel throughout while the boardroom offers high end AV facilities and a range of meeting rooms reflect Gravity’s prestigious location and provide suitable meeting spaces.
Gravity Coworking is one of the newest offerings of collaborative workspace in the Sydney CBD providing entrepreneurs, start-ups, growing businesses and corporate innovation teams a premium space in which they can pull together, collaborate and take advantage of the collective spirit.
The open-plan layout, coupled with breakout and meetings areas enables users to innovate, concentrate, pitch their business to clients and be part of a community of highly-successful individuals.Given the success of the Sydney environment, Gravity Coworking is currently expanding to offer similar services in Brisbane and Melbourne and we look forward to fitting out these innovative spaces.
