Office Salt – Yekaterinburg Coworking Office Expansion
Esthet Design Lab has developed an expansion of the coworking office Salt which is located in Yekaterinburg, Russia.
After successful launching it turned out that co-working office environment Salt was very comfortable and suitable for freelancers and entrepreneurs who were working like a team including 1-2 persons but was not for more people e.g. 3-6 persons. The problem was such bigger teams as usual were talking a lot disturbing others. Moreover in that case the prices became not so profitable. Renting a small office would be an alternative decision if it did not make visitors feel like sardines in a tin. We have developed the co-working project Salt into a new one – The office Salt for small groups.
This new project preserves all previous advantages. Working space is divided into small rooms including only working places and filing system. All other things are combined together and set up a common area with a recreation zone, an equipped kitchen, a cloakroom, toilets and showers. Internal space has been organized as loft style area. We have chipped off the plaster from the walls, restored old wooden floors and modern bows, constructed the partitions from the old kiln bricks, designed and produced sliding doors for the economy of space. As a result the interior maintains Salt spirit and creates its own emotional atmosphere.
