Lorant – Mexico City Offices
Eskema Arquitectos has designed a new office for insurance company Lorant located in Mexico City
An insurance broker company with more than 45 years in the same office was making big change, not only to their working space but to the way things were done as well. The challenge was helping them make the transition to a more flexible working environment by guiding them through the benefits of an open office, and strategically looking to the future they wanted.
Eskema encouraged informal meeting spaces to enhance communication between teams, so new forms of collaboration could be better performed.
The strategy included changing all workstations and reducing organizational hierarchies by having the least private offices possible.
The building space helped us create a unique experience, connecting the first and second floor with a two story high sculpture that harmonizes with the entire project. Sobriety, communication, elegance and openness are the concepts that are read throughout the project, creating a unique synergy. The base colors were neutral to create a classic space with a delicate touch of avant-garde found in the accent colors.
