Ascend Group – Bangkok Offices
Ascend Group, as a leader in the e-Commerce industry in Thailand, chose to set up its headquarters spanning 2 floors in the AIA Capital Center high-rise in the center of Bangkok.
Our in-house design team joined hands with the WVK design firm to create a workspace that reflects creativity and inspires our team of young and dynamic professionals, hence the design theme of “work, play, and collaboration.”
The open layout of the office takes advantage of the expansive view of the city and seating has been set up along the windows as a collaborative space or should our staff need independent space. Our lobby, as a multifunction space, is used for town hall seminars, guest greeting area, collaboration area, workspace and party. Staff are not confined to their work area but can move around freely with the presence of breakout areas all throughout the workspace.
The design concept, utilising raw concrete floors and exposed ceiling, wooden and metal furnitures, gives an industrial look with a modern accent. We also added the element of fun, such as a slider while the presence of green walls aims to relax. Throughout the office walls are inspirational quotes from well-known figures from all sectors to motivate and inspire.
