Rocket 55 – Minneapolis Offices
Digital design agency Rocket 55 recently remodeled its own office to feature a sleek new look after moving to Minneapolis’s North Loop area in late December of 2013.
Located in the Tractor Works building off of Washington Avenue, the office features an open setup that emphasizes collaboration. At the office’s center are 6 connected desks – forming a visual focal point that allows web designers and copywriters to easily converse among one another.
The office combines contemporary elements while maintaining some aesthetics original to the building’s history as a former John Deere tractor factory. The main room is highlighted by two large concrete pillars and ceiling piping – both of which add an industrial element. Also prominently displayed are 3 large modern ceiling lamps that help brighten the office’s interior.
One cornerstone of the office in particular is the company’s conference room – an area the team placed a special emphasis on during the design process. To increase spaciousness, the team selected chairs without armrests. They also installed wood paneling on each side that can be utilized as dry erase boards – allowing team members to write down ideas during the brainstorming process.
As the Rocket 55 team continues to evolve and change, so will the company’s office space – an important area that contributes to the agency’s creativity within the industry.
