Escape from Sofa – Istanbul Offices
Escape from Sofa has recently moved into a new office for its own design firm located in Istanbul.
This multi-disciplinary design office is located Istanbul’s design district area Galata on the ground floor of a historic greek apartment.
During the restoration the fresco’s on the ceilings has been relived through a delicate workmanship. The walls in the main hallway which is the entry and the center of the space has been peeled and the old Constantinople stamped bricks brought on the scene.
Previously morbid floors has been replaced with solid oak woodblocks… The kitchen and kitchenette hides it self when not in use, removing all the inner doors we achieved a more diffused space which is convenient for the office use.
Partially peeled, oil painted molded white walls, iron cast vintage radiators… The rooms are furnished with custom made contemporary office desks combined with Escapefromsofa’s midcentury inspired furnitures and highly known products, suspended lamps are from
