Chad McPhail Design has created the office design of women’s media outlet Refinery29 located in New York City.
This dynamic, multi-disciplinary headquarters for R29 is spread over two floors of an art deco-era tower overlooking Lower Manhattan and echoes the fast growing company’s values. The building’s exposed mechanical guts became a central design feature above an open plan with changing art installations, movable pop-inspired furnishings, and bright colors delineating casual meeting zones and areas for creative work/play.
