Hoffman Construction Offices – Seattle
Gensler has designed the new offices of Hoffman Construction located in Seattle, Washington.
As the builder of iconic structures, Hoffman Construction relies heavily on form driven by program and function, as well as digital integration. When the time came to design their own 10,000 sq. ft. office, located in Seattle, they challenged Gensler to take a similar approach to define their most treasured space: their Think Tank room…central hub…war room…hash-it-out zone…the heart of their office.
The intent was to create a space that showcases this client’s own advanced digital integration and technical delivery capabilities – challenging traditional design and delivery processes. By incorporating digital tools to help cut down both construction time and costs, the team successfully designed their space in four weeks and the client successfully built it in seven weeks. Digital scanning as a design tool made this possible.
