Glu Mobile Offices – Hyderabad
Penshell Design has designed the offices of mobile gaming company Glu Mobile, located in Hyderabad, India.

Glu is headquartered in San Francisco with U.S. offices outside Seattle and in San Mateo, Portland and Long Beach, and international locations in Canada, China, India and Russia.
The main task for the Penshell Design architects was to create a comfortable workspace for five teams of the dynamic IT-company in a space with an open plan measuring over 40000 Sqft.
Natural color palette defined with a wide use of Walnut veneer dominates the modern minimalistic finishing with a rustic touch. To avoid monotony, the same hexagonal pattern have been taken in the partitions to give a thematic appeal to the spaces. Lot of green walls with live plants have been designed to give freshness & aesthetical appeal to the spaces. Color accents are introduced with the bright items of minimalistic furniture; Yellow, the brand color of the company, became the main color of the palate.
The central part of the rectangular space has been divided in to many hexagonal clusters to host an open space work area equipped with desks that allow small discussions with in the workstation clusters.
A route of smoothened zigzags connects the functional zones; Natural plants set along the route gives privacy and create a more comfortable work atmosphere for the teams. Several booths for phone talks complete the structuring of the space. Baffle ceilings with beautiful pendant lights mark the special areas. Collaboration areas created along the peripheral glazing of the office to maximum usage of day light. Columns has been cladded with lacquered glass to give aesthetical appeal at the time can be used for writing during the meetings.
The Recreation area kept beside Cafeteria with a provision of sliding and folding partition make it convenient to convert in to town hall set up. Bright color scheme with circular features in the ceiling and flooring with customized light fixtures set a perfect dining space.
