Unow Offices – Paris
Yemanja designed the offices for vocational training organization, Unow, located in Paris, France.
Unow is an online course platform for professionals, helping companies with simple and effective training for their employees. They create a work environment that brings the 350-year-old atmosphere of the building and the next generation online training startup together. It was named the TECH Academy.
Academy: from Greek akadēmeia, from Akadēmos, the hero after whom Plato’s garden was named. A society or institution of distinguished scholars and scientists or scientists that aims to promote and maintain standards in its particular field.
Le Marais district in Paris is filled with old paved street Where one can hear the coach drivers’ whips echoing on 200 years old boutiques. There, dust on the counter is and big, mysterious wooden doors are gateways to memory lane. There is one doorat rue Chapon (Chapon St.) that opens on a magnificent hôtel particulier that belonged to Joseph Dorat, secretary to Louis the 14th, the Sun King.
Inside these historic walls, modern desks are meddling with imposing, old bookshelves and period wall padding and mirrors. Laser cut wood logos, bright color walls and state of the art video production equipment a home in this big, old, beautiful building. A new era for the Hotel Dorat, a new home for Unow.
