  • Perkins and Will has realized the contemporary offices and new headquarters for C6 Bank, a global trust company, located in São Paulo, Brazil.

Freedom in favor of collaborative work is the main concept from C6 Bank’s new headquarters. Global Architecture and Design Studio Perkins and Will conceived a modern, flexible and fun office inside an eight-story building with over 8.000m² in the heart of São Paulo.

Developed simultaneously with the bank’s own concept, the project incorporates the company’s main values and culture, that include transparency, freedom and high spirits.

The building’s complete occupation by C6 Bank was fundamental to disseminate the corporate culture in the design.

Destined to a startup hub, the first floor has a coworking concept, offering a free choice of workplace with modular furniture and areas for informal meetings. The pavement has an independent access through a staircase in the external area.

Collaborative atmosphere continues on the remaining floors. From the second to sixth level, big tables and non-addressed workstations accommodate the bank’s employees. Balconies and niches offer areas for informal meetings or activities that demand more focus.

Finally, the last pavement has an arena layout auditorium, with bleachers and flexible furniture in order to adapt to many uses. A wide, well lit rooftop, equipped with a barbecue pit and beer drafts, was created to receive the company’s events as well as serving as an outdoor workspace.

A resting area provides a tv, video-games and table games, and a big cafeteria.

C6 Bank’s main premiss, people integration is encouraged by many details in the project.

The final result is a welcoming, flexible office, that stimulates human relations and co-creation through the freedom of use of the spaces.
