JN Bank UK Offices – London
MDC Group reflected the values of JN Bank in the design of their offices located in London, England.
This 2,000 square feet site in the heart of Brixton, one of London’s most vibrant and multicultural neighbourhoods.
JN Bank UK is part of the Jamaica National Group, a company based in Kingston Jamaica and founded more than 140 years ago. JN Group obtained a UK banking license to further support its approximately 40,000 customers they already have in the UK, which also use its other UK subsidiary JN Money, a remittance company.
For the new JN Bank UK branch, the MDC Group created a design which reflects Jamaican heritage. The ‘Tree of Life’ centre point of the design was used to reflect a popular beauty spot in Jamaica called ’Fern Gully’. For JN Bank, this feature also suggests to customers that “what you plant it will grow”!
The branch is cashless and will also serve as a community space once the pandemic is over. As a digital financial services company, JN Bank wants to help their customers learn how to manage their accounts by using cloud base technology enabling them to take advantage of today’s modern banking.
