Casey Capital and Mondous Group Offices – Melbourne
Studio 103 transformed a Melbourne workplace for Casey Capital and Mondous Property Group into a luxurious, cohesive space with residential and hotel-like elements, promoting collaboration and community within a prestigious location.
Casey Capital, a distinguished property development company, enlisted Studio 103 to design their new workplace in Toorak Village, one of Melbourne’s most prestigious areas. The project, spanning approximately 600 square meters, aimed to unify two companies—Casey Capital and Mondous Property Group—within a single tenancy. The brief called for shared communal spaces, including an arrival area, meeting rooms, a lounge, and a kitchen, while ensuring each business maintained its own distinct work zone.
The design concept focused on creating a space with a residential, hotel-like ambiance, utilising a rich palette of textures. This was achieved through the use of plush rugs, timber-lined partitions, soft lounges, and exquisitely crafted stone benches and fireplaces, all contributing to a luxurious yet inviting atmosphere. The building’s architectural arched windows served as a key influence on the interior design, inspiring the curved forms seen in passageways and glazed partitions in the meeting rooms, adding a layer of elegance and continuity throughout.
Ample wall space was allocated for artwork, allowing for personalized touches that enhance the aesthetic appeal. The kitchen and lounge areas were designed as the central hubs of the office, not just for staff lunches but as versatile spaces that encourage interaction and connectivity among employees. These areas serve as ideal venues for entertaining, hosting functions, and networking events, bridging the separate work zones and fostering a sense of community.
Studio 103’s design for Casey Capital and Mondous Property Group is a testament to our commitment to creating environments that are as functional as they are sophisticated, blending professional spaces with a warm, residential feel to encourage collaboration and connection.
