  • Entre Arquitetos developed the office project for a multinational telecommunications company that needed to open one of its branches in Florianópolis, a coastal city located on an island with a lush natural landscape, surrounded by waters and native tropical vegetation. The interior design concept stemmed from exploring the concept of the space it was creating, using symbols that seek to create connections with the location and the people who will use it.

The organic nature of the designed elements explores natural curves reminiscent of the beachfront and the fluidity of the tides, while the natural and diffused light seeks to converge into an inspiring environment, one of interconnections between ancestral heritage and cutting-edge technology.

The spatial design organizes the support areas along the access wall, freeing up the central area for collective and open spaces, enhanced by the incidence of natural light. This gesture, at once rigorous and generous, creates an ambiance where the collective takes precedence over the individual, echoing contemporary ways of working. This ambivalence is reflected in the choice of materials, where this volume of support spaces is enclosed by a single, sinuous slat whose concealed doors establish continuity and unity. In contrast, the open spaces adopt light and reflective materials—painted metal, light surfaces, neutral colors—that enhance the luminosity and spaciousness of the entire space.

The work desks are located at the central point that connects with all the other enclosed spaces, establishing a connected, dynamic, and easily readable space. Two large suspended islands of light allude to Santa Catarina Island and highlight the work desks, establishing a field of continuous, diffused light, appropriate to the human scale.

The exclusive design of the work desks developed for the office creates a transition between the circulation area and the workstation, also serving as a support cabinet, while also incorporating biophilia integrated into the environment. Deflector baffles are placed between the workstations to enhance acoustic comfort. Thus, even on a reduced scale, the project seeks to tension urban and collective dimensions: more than a corporate space, it proposes a meeting hub that transitions between hybrid work models and human-centric design principles. A space that not only serves functions but also affirms architecture as a mediator of connections between people, place, and time.
