Clinclowns Offices – Amsterdam
Parella’s CliniClowns offices in Amsterdam transforms the headquarters into a vibrant hybrid hub, fostering creativity and human connection while embodying the organization’s mission to bring joy to healthcare settings.
CliniClowns Nederland exists to bring humour, warmth and human connection to children and adults in hospitals and care settings. When the association set out to reimagine its headquarters, the challenge was to create a space that could serve its evolving operational needs without losing any of the heart that defines its mission. The result had to be functional and forward-looking, but above all, it had to feel like CliniClowns.
Parella supported the association through every phase of this meaningful project, drawing on its expertise in real estate strategy, workplace consultancy and project management. The approach was deeply collaborative, developed in close dialogue with internal stakeholders to ensure the new environment truly reflected how the teams work and what they stand for.
The transformed headquarters now operates as a hybrid hub — a place for focused work, creative exchange and human interaction. Dedicated training rooms give professional clowns the space they need to prepare and rehearse, while purpose-built video conferencing studios support the association’s growing remote care programme, enabling emotional support to reach patients who cannot be visited in person. Throughout, the design prioritises warmth, inclusivity and a sense of belonging, making the space welcoming for every member of the team.
More than a workplace renovation, this was a spatial translation of CliniClowns Nederland’s evolution, digital and human in equal measure. A committed project, delivered with agility, designed to amplify the association’s social impact every single day.
