Dempsey Construction Offices – San Diego
ID Studios, Inc. revitalized Dempsey Construction Offices in San Diego, CA, with a dynamic design that embraces the company’s spirited and authentic identity while accommodating their expanding needs.
After outgrowing the office we had previously designed, Dempsey Construction partnered with us again to create a new headquarters that reflects their continued growth. Working closely with their team, we created a new space that builds on many of the qualities they loved about their original office while supporting the company’s continued growth. The goal was to maintain the welcoming, gritty, and energetic feel that reflects Dempsey’s culture and the people behind it: passionate, genuine, hardworking, and fun.
Throughout the office, materials and details were selected to reflect Dempsey’s identity and values. Reclaimed wood, exposed steel, brick, rebar, and board formed concrete bring an authentic, construction inspired character to the space, while flexible meeting areas, collaborative workspaces, and indoor and outdoor gathering spaces help keep employees connected. The result is a workplace that feels true to who Dempsey is, celebrates their craftsmanship, and creates opportunities for collaboration, connection, and company culture to thrive.
