DoSpace Coworking Offices – Norrköping
DoSpace Coworking Offices in Norrköping, Sweden by Moment Arkitekter, masterfully transforms a central retail space into a vibrant community hub, featuring a striking glass ellipse that connects two building masses and promotes collaborative workflows.
This project demonstrates the adaptive reuse of central retail premises into a multi-layered co-working facility. Designed to foster community and collaborative workflows, the intervention reorganizes traditional commercial space into an inviting environment for independent professionals.
The central spatial feature is a glass ellipse connecting the two building masses. Here, a central lounge utilizes terraced, space-defining platforms to create a tactile hierarchy of private work nooks and open gathering spots. Incorporating offices, meeting suites, and event spaces under one roof, the project draws heavy aesthetic inspiration from 1950s and 60s Danish design.
