Vibia releases Tube lighting system by Ichiro Iwasaki
Recalling the architecture of an urban grid, Vibia Tube lighting system creates a striking landscape of conduits and shades. The minimalist, modular collection of lamps enables endless configurations. A network of tubes channels the light on a precise path vertically or horizontally from a single power source to different shades, positioned exactly where needed, conjuring the intricate lines and intersections of a subway map. The shades’ personalized installation patterns are celebrated in a design that seamlessly merges form and function. Designers can configure the space by using Vibia’s online software module at vibia.com.
Tube shades are available in 8 ¾, 11 ¼, 16 ¼ and 20 ½ inches diameters for pendants, and 11 ¼, 16 ¼ and 20 ½ for the ceiling installation options. Options for three pre-configured clusters are available as a standard offering. The collection comes with aluminum shade finish; white and three shades of gray that are connected by matte black steel tubes. All pieces are handcrafted in Barcelona, Spain. Multi-volt and 0-10V dimming supported.
