Leland Furniture Introduces Elements Color Program
Color has always been part of our story at Leland, and it feels like we’re at a whole new beginning.
Lately, we’ve been looking deep at color. And the more we looked, the more we realized all the inspiration we needed was right outside our door‚ in our natural world.
All of our wandering – physically and metaphorically – led us to the Elements collection—eight new colors, fresh and rich, in harmony with natural elements we see, hear, and smell. Each color is semi-transparent wood stain, for an easy appreciation of the natural grain underneath.
The new collection of finishes spans five products. The colors add a new elegance to their utility and a sophistication that comes from being more muted and understated.
These colors express a vintage quality, evoking the palette of classic wood veneer furniture seen in mid-century and Scandinavian designs. And when painted over wood, it harkens back to the era of original modernism, accentuating a sense of comfort. For further comfort, we created a partnership with Camira and Luna for graded-in textile coordinates.
Inspired by the outside, the Elements collection also promotes healthy environments inside. All finishes pass the rigorous standards for SCS Indoor Advantage Gold Certification – the highest level of indoor air quality performance for furniture – assuring that our colors meet strict chemical emission limits for VOCs.
