Orange’s New Oviedo Call Center
Telecommunications company Orange has recently opened a new customer service center in Oviedo, Spain. Designed by 3g Office, the office is one of the most modern call centers in the country.
Looking back, I’m pretty confident that I’ve never posted a call center on Office Snapshots. Call centers are incredibly important parts in the operations of many companies, so I was definitely fascinated to see what one actually looks like. One aspect I was surprised by was the proximity in which employees work.
Here are a few additional details about the space:
“The new platform of Orange is located in a 5,000 square meter building that houses 800 workers in the industrial park Holy Spirit, in Oviedo.
In just four months, 3g office had completed the work, adapted the existing building reusing part of the infrastructure and equipped it with the more efficient lighting systems and facilities. Through the reform of the interior patio a lobby is opened and gets a rest and relaxation area for workers of over 200m2 and 11m in height. The zenithal lighting in this space is transmitted to the interior by continuous glass screens that make all work spaces have natural light.
Using sound-absorbing carpets and ceilings and the colour balance between them, create a pleasant, quiet and functional space perfect to get the best customer service that Orange wants to offer.”
