Inside The New Davies Meyer Offices
Digital agency Davies Meyer has moved into a new office located in Hamburg and took the opportunity to create an imaginative and creative office environment.
The firm explains the design:
“Perfectly located in the heart of St. Pauli, high above the famous Reeperbahn , the multichannel agency Davies Meyer moved into its new home. Feeling inspired from of global office design trends we took the opportunity to redesign our own workspace according to our imaginations.
The multifaceted design of the venue reflects the vast amount of colorful and lively inspiration its neighborhood provides. Monochrome walls contrast with decorative wallpaper. Spacious common areas alternate with concentrated work spaces. The rough charm of street art meets functional office equipment. It turned out to be an eclectic mix of color and style, painting the big picture.
On two floors, every team member finds the perfect setting to support him in providing solutions for what we call transmedia storytelling. Get some inspiring exchange with your colleagues at the coffee bar! You’re up for a power nap? Let’s do so at the lounge area. Let your thoughts float with a panoramic view in the hanging chairs. Or is it best to crack some nuts back at your own desk?
Thus, the new design contributes to both; the needs of about 40 employees, as well as the challenges of everyday work life. A diverse creative meeting in a central location that offers perfectly equipped spaces for working and living. A design that inspires and entertains, topped by a panoramic view at the colorful life of locals, partygoers and tourists.”
