Inside STYLIGHT’s Munich Offices
Fashion discovery website STYLIGHT has recently moved into a new office space located in an old print works building. The building’s large atrium area gives the company a perfect space to host a variety of events.
Based in the beautiful Bavarian capital of Munich, Germany, the startup has found a new home since it was founded in 2008. It is now located in an old print works, snuggled away in the corner of a grand courtyard, in the centre of the city.
Many of the print works’ features still remain, with all the former wood panelling being recycled into the office’s front desk and reception area.
At 13,000 sq ft, the office has a lot of space to offer its 110+ employees; from a light, bright central atrium to minimalist private meeting rooms. The space has been utilised to its full potential, providing the staff with a great environment to work, play, and even nap. With long, German beer-garden-style benches in the atrium and the courtyard for lunch and socialising, STYLIGHT has developed a close-knit, family feel within their office.
STYLIGHT has kept the style of their office to a fashionable minimum, with bare white walls and accents of colour around the office, the space is uncluttered and open to interpretation; whether that be an after-work football game on the projector screen, a concert, or a shopping event – the space isn’t just a place to sit from 9-5, but a fashionable playground.
The office is perfect for a young, creative team, in an ever-growing company. With offices soon to open in London, UK, & New York, US, the next big project will be topping the Munich headquarters’ blueprint.
