Pfizer R&D Center – Shanghai
iDA Workplace has designed the new research & development center of pharmaceutical company Pfizer, located in Shanghai, China.
Instead of applying the ordinary concept of being high-tech, elegant and indifferent, iDA came up with a refreshing creativity to build this Biopharmaceutical R & D Center in a warm and humanized way that is different from the universally perceived R&D office design.
Using the element of DNA to permeate the space and further merging into the office behaviors are the main conceptual values through this R&D environment.
The void structure of the building is perfectly addressed with the tall greenery wall, not only as a remarkable decoration, but also a symbolic recognition of Pfizer’s core value -“Working together for a healthier world”.
Pfizer values the well-being of the employees and sees it as the priority. In order to properly demonstrate their core value into design, iDA’s initiative of designing this space is based on the idea of “A place for healthier innovators”, to give the workplace a greater touch of healthiness.
