Fuji Xerox Offices – Auckland
Yellow 6 Design has designed the offices of photographic company Fuji Xerox, located in Auckland, New Zealand.
In collaboration with Platform Consulting, Yellow 6 worked with Fuji Xerox as lead designers for their exciting relocation. Moving offices gave the company an ideal opportunity to change the way they worked.
The company went from relatively cellular spaces to an open plan environment. A small number of offices were retained, but most people are now part of the open plan space. This created a collaborative working environment which encouraged a closer working dynamic between business units that were previously separated.
The addition of a central staircase also connected teams over the 2 floors with social spaces framing this vertical transition. The design incorporates exposed ceilings to create a light and airy environment, but also reduces height in meeting and office spaces for a more private experience.
We were lucky enough to be able to design the roof terrace, which offered amazing views over the Auckland domain to enable not only the staff to enjoy the outdoors but also to create the perfect entertainment space for Fuji Xerox.
