Stryker Customer Experience Center – San Jose
Gensler designed a new Customer Experience Center for Stryker, a medical device manufacturing company located in San Jose, California.
Gensler designed Stryker’s new Customer Experience Center to support customer engagement in a collaborative and interactive environment.
Stryker, a Fortune 500 medical technologies company, wanted a Client Experience Center (CEC) with a Silicon Valley feel dedicated to showcasing their latest medical devices. The CEC supports the entire customer journey, from social gatherings in the lobby area to demonstration space with a large screen for display and group discussions, to formal meetings in the large conference room with dining facilities.
A vision into the future, a “glowing” cube connects the main lobby to the CEC, offering a glimpse of Stryker’s latest ground-breaking technology. The flexible center was achieved by creating a universal space where new products can be swapped out and showcased as they are developed. Through thoughtful design solutions, the team was able to seamlessly integrate structural support for the heavy equipment and a product display highlighting the endoscopic cameras into the architecture. The display includes cameras in chronological order, from the oldest to the most recent developments, and allows room for Stryker to add additional cameras in the future as the company continues to innovate.
Celebrating the company’s entrepreneurial spirit and forward-thinking approach to creating revolutionary products, Gensler also designed sleek, informative graphics including wall graphics, a local map, history timeline, and product innovation display that represents the company’s bold and innovative spirit.
