Titan Offices – Bangalore
Titan’s new Bangalore headquarters is an intelligent design that showcases the consumer goods company's pursuit of excellence in not just its physical space but as an international mark in the world of transformative workspaces.
M Moser Associates has completed the office design for Titan, a consumer goods company, located in Bangalore, India.
Today, Titan is India’s leading producer and retailer of watches, jewelry, eyewear and accessories. With an international presence spanning more than 2,000 stores in over 30 countries, Titan is also Tata’s largest consumer goods company.
In putting this mission at the forefront of the design, the new Bangalore headquarters has enabled Titan to: develop an enhanced experience for employees by blurring the lines between hospitality and the work environment; embrace sustainability using local, sustainable materials and facilitating proximity to nature; foster innovation and performance through flexible work settings; and encourage a “flat hierarchy” system, where managers are seated amongst their team(s).
M Moser helped to bring Titan’s vision to life by spearheading the workplace transformation, with tools such as interactive workshops, interviews, focus group activities and design.
Titan’s corporate values played a significant role in determining the overall design language for the new campus, including: Total Customer Orientation, Employee Appreciation, Performance Culture & Teamwork, Creativity & Innovation, Passion for Excellence and Corporate Citizenship.
Wherever possible, the design enables natural light to infiltrate the structure’s interiors, reinforcing the synergy between the interior and exterior. Lighting fixtures are designed to flow with the unique building shape and the use of linear lights as opposed to downlights increases the reach over workstations, enabling maximum “people comfort”.
Ceiling fans enable the free movement of natural air, thereby discounting the need for air-conditioning and creating an ambient temperature throughout the workspace. Additionally, in order to reduce the project’s carbon footprint, most of the materials and design elements used are made in India.
Titan’s new headquarters speaks to the highest global standards in sustainability and innovative design. A pioneer among workspaces that pursue excellence beyond just the physical space, the new Titan office pushes the boundaries of intelligent design while making an international mark in the world of transformative workspaces.
