Iscon Balaji Foods Offices – Ahmedabad
Studio MINIM completed the Iscon Balaji Foods offices with a variety of individual and collaborative spaces in Ahmedabad, India.
Iscon Balaji Foods Pvt. Ltd, a leading Indian company in the frozen food industry were looking to extend their administrative office in a commercial office complex in the center of Ahmedabad for their daily logistical operations.
The focus of the brief was to create an innovative & soothing workplace that is generative of a positive & energetic workplace culture.
The space planning of the tight floor area consisted of a central spine for movement with all the services on either sides. The workspace comprises of three executive cabins, workstations, conference room, meeting room, & a pantry. The office atmosphere contains a neutral & monochrome color palette with a hint of blue and complementary artwork with a splash of colours.
Customized modular wall storages with art niches are designed to efficiently incorporate the existing site condition of uneven wall surfaces. The overall furniture has clean crisp lines & textures without use of any exterior hardware for operating it. Solid shades of grey in satin finished laminate are used in furniture for easy maintenance in an office space. The conference room and meeting room tables have soft and fluid form for ease of movement in available minimum floor space.
The original ceiling height and structure has been retained by incorporating exposed conduiting and lighting. The lighting environment is comforting and calm to encourage work efficiency.
The inclusive décor retains comfort, simplicity and minimalism to accentuate growth of the inhabiting professionals.
