Southwire Offices – Atlanta
ASD|SKYÂ designed a flexible work environment for Southwire near the Braves Stadium, integrating the company’s products into the innovative space to inspire collaboration and problem-solving for the future.
Southwire is a manufacturing company, headquartered in Carrollton, GA. They wanted to create an Atlanta hub near the Braves Stadium to attract and retain new talent and create a flexible work environment for employees located in Atlanta and provide less of a commute. Southwire has a strong historic legacy from Roy Richards and his family, who started the mass production for power poles and wire, and now offer wire and cable, tools and equipment, power management, lighting, electrical components and more.
ASD|SKY’s concept for the project was to provide a destination where employees and guests are welcomed into this innovative space, inspired by the past and motivated by shared experiences to move forward and solve problems of tomorrow. The ASD|SKY team utilized several of Southwire’s wire and conduit product on display in several architectural elements throughout the space. The workplace has no assigned desks or offices, allowing for full flexibility throughout the environment. For all the lighting throughout the space, we utilized Southwire’s PoE, power over ethernet, network system which assisted in the LEED Silver Certification.
