PDO worked closely with Big-D to design their new Southwest headquarters to align with the company’s history and culture, and to promote a strong brand identity. The result is be a bold, contemporary home for the company that seamlessly blends industrial elements with warm, inviting touches.

The project emphasizes the use of raw building materials like wood, concrete, stone, and metal as a nod to the construction industry, but they are thoughtfully curated and layered for a sophisticated, modern feel. The hammered metal lobby wall and exposed steel columns blend durability with a rugged aesthetic appeal, but the space’s warm wood tones, clean lines, and textured fabrics create a space that’s both masculine and sophisticated. The result is a space that’s both confident and inspiring, where professionals can tackle large-scale projects with ease.
