Ah Ket’s recently completed Chambers in the heart of Melbourne span 5,420sqm across two floors, the workspace redefines the professional barristers’ chambers with a design that fosters connectivity, collaboration, and community.
Embodying a “connected ecosystem” built on the pillars of service, purpose, and legacy, the design narrative prioritises the celebration of community and the value of its members. Layered, harmonised and balanced, the interiors combine sophistication, heritage, and environmental sensitivity through a curated, layered design that balances vibrant and calming elements with harmonious finishes.
The design introduces a new staircase, seamlessly linking both floors and encouraging interaction among members. Emphasising natural daylight, enhanced by verdant elements, creating a space that feels alive and inspiring. The workspace’s curated entry experience combines contrasting materials and bold design elements to create a sophisticated yet welcoming ambiance. While the staff and club lounge serve as hubs for connection and community, offering opportunities to unite and celebrate members in an atmosphere that balances functionality with warmth.
This thoughtful design embodies these values and acknowledges heritage, creating a space that inspires and supports its occupants.
