Maverick Natural Resources Offices – Houston
Abel Design Group crafted the Maverick Natural Resources offices in Houston to embody innovation and functionality, serving as a sophisticated headquarters that reflects the company’s leadership in the energy sector.
As Maverick Natural Resources continued to expand, the company recognized the need for a sophisticated, efficient and future-forward headquarters that would not only support its growing workforce but also reinforce its position as a leader in the energy sector. Rather than remain in an outdated office, Maverick made the strategic decision to relocate to Heritage Plaza Tower in Downtown Houston — placing them at the center of the city’s business and energy network.
Abel Design Group was tasked with designing a corporate headquarters that would balance privacy, functionality and aesthetic impact. The vision was clear — create a space that would reflect Maverick’s strength, innovation and efficiency while offering a workplace that could grow alongside its evolving needs.
The design was to support high-level executive operations — provide well-appointed spaces for confidential discussions and foster a collaborative environment that encourages productivity and seamless workflow. With a program that included executive offices, a boardroom, pre-function spaces, training rooms, reception areas, an open stair, multiple conference rooms, coffee bars and administrative stations, the design team approached the project with meticulous attention to detail — ensuring that every space embodied Maverick’s brand and ambition.
Through intentional design and a deep understanding of Maverick’s evolving needs, ADG created a headquarters that is as functional as it is striking — a corporate headquarters that not only serves its employees but also solidifies Maverick’s identity as a leader in Houston’s energy sector.
