Udesign Architecture’s ADDO Showroom in Istanbul masterfully intertwines minimalism and vibrant design, creating an inviting workspace that highlights layered lighting, rich textures, and distinct spatial zones for an engaging visitor experience.
ADDO’s Showroom in Istanbul harmoniously blends minimalism with purposeful design to create a sophisticated and inviting workspace using layered lighting, rich textures and a vibrant colour palette.
The new ADDO showroom in Istanbul reflects a design philosophy where minimalism serves its purpose, creating a work and showroom space that is visually refined, functional, and deeply connected to the client’s global standards.
A grid-like layered approach is at the heart of the design, where the grid is conceived not only as a lighting tool but also as a defining element of the interiors. From soft ambient lights softening showroom spaces to focused accent lights highlighting key furnishings, the entire space is orchestrated with light, enhancing depth, mood, and spatial clarity.
The material palette combines with the bold, solid tones of the minimalist surfaces to create a clean yet striking ambiance. This contrast is further accentuated by the textures of the furniture and carefully selected decorative elements, adding a tactile richness without overwhelming the space’s simplicity.
Spatial zoning is defined by well-arranged paint tones and tonal variations, subtly differentiating collaborative pockets, focal points, and shared spaces while ensuring a seamless flow. This simple yet strategic use of color ensures that each zone has its own identity while also belonging to a cohesive whole.
The design narrative comes alive in the hospitality-focused reception and materials selection area, where a warm and inviting lighting scheme is paired with sculptural acoustic ceiling baffles that also serve as design highlights. Neutral backdrops are combined with bold, solid-color finishes like deep red, beige, and pale green, allowing furniture textures and accent pieces to stand out as focal points. Carefully selected rugs, paint tones, and area rugs subtly separate collaboration areas from circulation areas, while indoor plants and carefully selected decorative objects soften the minimal frame with a touch of warmth and biophilia. Together, these details create a multifunctional hub that balances simplicity and elegance, blurring the line between hospitality and the workplace.
Beyond this, the office features an experience-focused showcase designed in bold red and turquoise tones. ADDO’s product range is presented here in an experience wall format, where illuminated display units, spotlights, and carefully selected backdrops transform the space into a storytelling space that immerses visitors in the brand’s heritage, values, and innovations.
The result is a workspace where light, color and texture define a timeless design experience, balancing simplicity with sophistication.
