Bedford Chartered Accountants Offices – Sydney
Sheldon Commercial Interiors was tasked with the design for Bedford Chartered Accountants offices located in Sydney, Australia.
Bedford Chartered Accountants were eager to modernise its office environment. Existing frustrations included an abundance of paper and storage, taking over the workplace.
Sheldon was engaged to create an open plan workplace for Bedford to maintain transparency amongst teams to reflect its close knit nature, while cutting back on storage and paper as the company moved towards a more sustainably focused future.
Sheldon conducted detailed site analysis’ and studied the team patterns to confirm the floor plan was to include a front of house positioned to make the most of the harbour views, with the back of house looking over the North Sydney CBD to make the most of the natural light for workstations and offices.
The design incorporated curved glass, smokey mirror panels and timber look flooring creating a sophisticated design to compliment the floor plan with large breakout areas for social activities, and flexible quiet spaces for undisturbed working.
The team at Bedford have noticed increased morale of the team, as they buzz in and out of the kitchen finessing their coffee making skills. Productivity levels have also increased as the team cut back on paper and streamlined processes.
