LG Offices – Mexico City
Marca architecture’s LG offices in Mexico City redefines the work experience through innovative design, biophilic elements, and ergonomic features, fostering safety, collaboration, and well-being in a post-COVID-19 landscape.
In the heart of Polanco’s dynamic business district, we delve into an exhaustive analysis of a 1,600 m² office that not only sets new architectural standards but also redefines the work experience, especially in the post-COVID-19 context. This space stands as a balanced fusion of innovation, efficiency, and well-being, meticulously designed to meet the demands of modern business and attract employees back to the office, while ensuring their safety.
The multifunctional architecture unfolds its elegance on two interconnected levels, featuring a staircase that, in its duality, becomes an innovative auditorium. The grid ceiling, beyond its striking presence, acts as a fundamental acoustic component, ensuring an optimal sound environment for productivity.
The choice of materials reflects a commitment to excellence, from the travertine-clad walls to an amalgamation of flooring encompassing carpet, engineered wood, and Bardiglio marble. The strategic use of glass for partitions not only adds light to the space but also fosters a collaborative atmosphere.
The integration of biophilia stands as a central pillar to improve employee well-being. Each corner is carefully conceived to maximize the connection with nature, providing recreational spaces and areas for reflection that nurture creativity and work-life balance. Decorative details, from carefully selected bookcases to artwork that tells visual stories, add a layer of distinction and personalization to this exceptional work environment.
Ergonomics, meticulously incorporated into the design of furniture and chairs, ensures not only comfort but also an environment conducive to health and productivity. In a harmonious fusion of technology and aesthetics, intelligent automation regulates crucial aspects such as lighting, sound, and security, providing unprecedented operational efficiency.
As innovation deepens, aromatherapy is integrated in a subtle yet significant way. From the workspaces to the recreational areas, carefully curated fragrances stimulate the senses, creating a multi-sensory work environment.
The LG Offices transcend the conventional notion of a workplace. They represent a synthesis where architectural design, functionality, and well-being masterfully converge. Every detail, from the lattice ceiling to the biophilia, intertwines to deliver a work experience that goes beyond expectations, marking a milestone in the evolution of contemporary business environments. This space is not just an office; it is a statement of how intelligent design and attention to well-being can transform the way we work and live, especially in the context of the post-COVID-19 new normal, where employee safety and well-being are paramount priorities.
