Kayo

from Davis Furniture

Kayo by London-based designer, Jonathan Prestwich, is a reinterpretation of the classic bent plywood chair. Through a marriage of soft curves and strong geometry, Kayo’s striking form is comprised of a sculptural shell supported by a distinctly architectural base.

Kayo embraces design versatility by providing a myriad of options. Available with a closed or open bent plywood back and two distinct base designs, Kayo’s eye-catching design can be specified to meet a variety of distinct aesthetics and functions from chic cafés to casual meeting rooms to even elegant private offices.

Furthering the design flexibility of this piece, the generous seat and back are available in oak or walnut veneer with a range of upholstery options or fully upholstered. Kayo’s cast aluminum base is available in polished or powder coated finishes and stacks for easy storage. It’s solid wood base offers an option for a more relaxed aesthetic while remaining durable enough for high traffic commercial use. The solid wood base is available in oak or walnut to match the outer shell.
