A Brazilian Cargo Container Office by RoccoVidal

Brazilian design firm RoccoVidal, who recently merged with Perkins+Will, created an interesting concept office out of cargo containers in 2009.

Using three containers from the port of Santos, the design team aimed to create a stylish and recycled office space that could effectively be transported and installed anywhere. The office, which contains three workstations, a small meeting table, and a number of storage options, stands at just about 45 sqm.

Oh wow, that does look really stylish inside, I like how the outside gives nothing away.

But I can’t help be think it’s cold inside…

It is either cold or really hot depending on the weather I’m sure. It would be interesting to see if there is any sort of climate control.

That said, I think this was more of a temporary project and not a permanent office solution for them.
