Red Bull’s Santa Monica Offices – Complete With a Huge Skate Ramp
Red Bull’s Santa Monica office is a pretty amazing structure with a pretty amazing transformation. Here’s a bit of information folowed by a construction timelapse and gallery. Enjoy!
“The new Red Bull facility is the result of a total rehab of an old brick structure dating back to 1959 that was the former home of Avery Labels and site of printing in manufacturing. Encompassing 105,000 square feet, the project was designed by HLW Int’l of Santa Monica and built by Inner Space Constructors, Rancho Dominquez, CA.
The project required removing the roof at one end to create an open-air courtyard serviced by a HUGE bi-fold door. They also created a movie theatre, gym, secret gaming room and recording studio amongst the cubicles. But most impressive, is the huge, skate-able installation that runs throughout the office.”
