Inside Prince Media’s SoHo Home Office Loft

Prince Media is an independently owned, boutique Billboard company based in New York City. Owner Phillip Kafka runs the business from his beautiful SoHo loft, which was crafted using the design services offer by HomePolish.

HomePolish offers a description of the space:

“On the corner of Broadway and Houston, Prince Media Co’s office is the epitome of the New York SoHo loft. Half home, half office, the 96″ deep, brick tunnel reflects the eclectic style of it’s owner, Phillip Kafka. As a lover of art, Kafka wanted to make sure his collection of art and found objects (including a vintage motorcycle) had a home amongst his living and work spaces.”

Kafka’s workstation is located strategically near the windows which offer natural light and views of the company’s advertising landscape – New York City’s skyline. Matched up well against a canvas of brick walls and rich wooden floors are the more casual spaces that include several designer furniture choices like Wegner’s Wishbone chairs or the Eames Lounge chairs.

Working from home myself, I’ve found separating the live from the work to be difficult, but using a giant innovative sliding wall art piece, the live portion of the Prince Media loft magically disappears.
