Locomotiv’s Clean and Open Advertising Offices
Design firm MER completed the office design for Locomotiv, a Swedish advertising firm, in 2011. The project uses a clean white style with splashes of color to achieve a creative work setting.
Notes from the designers:
“The collaboration with Locomotiv started in 2010, when MER helped this advertisement company to find a new office location, appropriate to their needs and wishes.
In the previous office the employees were sitting through different floors and it was necessary to improve the contact between the work groups. MER found a unique office space in the center of Stockholm. It has direct exposure to the street, as well as an office area divided in two floors with an atrium in the middle.
A creative company such as Locomotiv had, naturally, several ideas on how the office should look like, and MER had a fun and fruitful collaboration throughout the project.
Together, we developed an office in two floors, with meeting rooms, lounges, cafés and a library on the lower floor, and the work stations on the floor above. The result was an office which reinforces the company’s image, both internally and externally.”
