Canvas.Co’s Washington DC Coworking Office
Canvas is a Washington DC-based coworking community for creatives, freelancers, and startups. Designed by Wingate Hughes Architects, the office is means to be an inspiring and collaborative work environment.
At around 6,000 sqft, the space’s design is meant to combine attributes of an office, a coffee shop and a pub – with the goal of inspiring those that work within its walls. Canvas notes that a core belief is “that creativity comes from inspiration and that inspiration starts with your surroundings; you won’t find any carpets, water-coolers or Ikea here.”
The coworking community also works to engage the surrounding community by hosting events, presentations, meet-ups, and art shows.
