Tronox’s New Headquarters
Mining company Tronox has moved into an excellent space located in Stamford, CT. The new office was designed by Perkins Eastman and gives the company a professional and modern space from which to run the company’s global operations.
“Tronox, a global leader in the mining and processing of titanium dioxide, retained Perkins Eastman to assist them with the relocation and reposition of their corporate headquarters from Oklahoma to a new location in Stamford, CT. The project was unique in that in addition to a fast track schedule of six months from design to move-in for a corporate headquarters, Tronox was literally hiring a new staff, which meant that all design decisions and project direction were to come solely from the CEO and COO—who both had complex travel schedules.
Perkins Eastman quickly organized the design process around the executive team’s schedules and, where required, would fly with materials and concepts in hand to meet with them at their hotels to review and approve design direction in order to maintain schedule. Perkins Eastman provided full interior design, furnishing, branding, and PM turnkey services.”
