Inside Virgin Management’s London Offices
Spacelab designed a new office space for Virgin Management’s London offices.
Spacelab have designed new offices for long-standing client Virgin Management within the iconic Grade II Listed Battleship Building in west London. In close consultation with Virgin we created a space that maximises collaboration and offers total flexibility for the workforce as it evolves.
The large open plan space is divided into a series of zones named after household rooms strategically located to encourage movement through the office and therefore increase chance interaction among employees. Cloud-based infrastructure and regional hot-desking allow flexible working, with desk provision at 80% for 140 staff.
The aesthetic is “functional but fun” incorporating an eclectic mix of furniture and finishes in combination with exposed services and flourishes of colour set within a largely monochrome palette.
