Inside Sailthru’s New York City Offices
Homepolish recently redesigned the SoHo offices of marketing data company Sailthru. The new office houses 100+ employees in approximately 16,000 square feet.
When we first met Sailthru, they had 100 employees, a slew of desks, and roughly 16,000 square feet of underutilized space in their SoHo office. And that’s about it. With so much potential at our fingertips, we couldn’t wait to get started. Our goal was to maximize the space as much as possible, while also creating a startup-friendly workspace that reflected Sailthru’s core values. We wanted people to walk through the door and say, “this feels exactly like Sailthru.”
For any office, it’s important to create an environment that encourages flexibility, socialization and collaboration—regardless of company size. To get started, we divvied up the office into various work areas that could double as breakout sections.
Lucky for us, Sailthru gave us the best gift we could ask for: complete trust in the design process. This gave us the creative freedom to take an entirely holistic approach—from the custom, high-back chairs with acoustical cushioning, down to the series of mason jars handpainted in “Sailthru blue” for holding flowers. We ended up bringing in so many amazing details, proving that the little things often make the biggest impact. And that’s something that any smart startup can appreciate.
