  • Intro Arquitectura has designed a new office space for the IT department of Latin American online employment company Navent.

Navent is Latin America´s first online employment company. Its IT department outgrew its offices, and new space was identified in the up-and-coming technology development in Buenos Aires. The young IT team wished for a fun and motivating environment with open workspaces, lounges, and recreation areas, so the designers responded with a concept that juxtaposes work, entertaining, and relaxing in a single space.

The different work functions are linked by a wooden rod screen that permits visual connection between the spaces, emphasizing the open office concept and supporting fluid communication. The only enclosed spaces—a private office and small meeting room—have frameless glass walls that seamlessly integrate with the open space. The non-orthogonal positions of each element create an unstructured place where everything has more interaction between the vision and circulation.

The 7,000-square-foot office is divided between two adjacent floors. Since there was no internal communication, a lightweight, metal staircase was inserted to provide better interaction and create a double-height space.

This office creates a new way to work and encourages productive and creative commerce between the employees.
